Mr. Zippy's ice is never touched by human hands and is only exposed to food grade stainless steel. The water is purified by an eight stage process before it reaches a container.
The Purifying process includes:
- Five-micron filtration
- Ion exchange water softener
- Granulated activation carbon
- Once-micron filtration
- Reverse Osmosis
- Post filtration
- Ozone disinfection
