Water Production
- Mr. Zippy's uses an 8 stage water filtration system to ensure the production of pure quality great tasting drinking water.
- Reverse Osmosis Production 2000 gallons\per day.
- Reverse Osmosis Storage 160 gallons.
- Pure Water Delivery system-2 separate vending windows.
- Dispenses 1 gallon, 3 gallon or 5 gallon based upon customer selection.
- Accepts Nickels, Dimes Quarters,
Tokens, $1.00 bills and $5.00 bills.
Ice Production
- Mr. Zippy's ice production uses purified water to insure a clean great tasting ice. Our units produce a 3/4" square cube.
- 2400 lbs of Ice production per day standard.
- Another 2400 lbs of Ice production available to increase capacity to 4800 lbs per day.
- 2000 lbs Ice storage
- Dispenses- 10 lb bag ice or bulk ice depending on customer selection.
- Accepts Quarters, Tokens, $1.00 bills, $5.00 bills, $10.00 bills .
- Dispenses change in quarters.

Recommended Cleaning and Maintenance Protocol
for Water and Ice Vending Machines
Daily:
- Clean and polish all customer contact vending areas with antibacterial cleaning products such as Formula 409, or Lysol tub and tile cleaner.
- Pick up all trash and litter from the area around the machine.
- Insure that all signage, building surfaces, etc. are clean and neat.
- Record all functional data inside machine i.e. gauge pressures, sales information, etc.
- Replenish salt in softener brine tank as needed.
- Replenish ice bags as needed.
- Test vend water and ice to verify correct operation.
Weekly:
- Sweep and hose parking lot.
- Hose outside of machine, signs, and overhang.
- Sweep and/or hose floor of machine.
- Do a hardness and chlorine sample.
- Drain bottom of air compressor for any moisture.
Monthly:
- Change carbon polishing filter.
- Clean ice transfer equipment
- Submit bacteria sample to state approved laboratory
(or quarterly, which ever is required).
Annually:
- Replace ultraviolet sterilizer bulbs.
- Replace carbon in carbon tank.
As necessary:
- Replace prefilter cartridges (based on pressure differential across inlet and outlet of filter housings).
- Replace dessicant in dessicant canister.
