NAMA is the national trade association of the food and refreshment vending, coffee service and foodservice management industries including on-site, commissary, catering and mobile. Its membership is comprised of service companies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to operating service companies. The basic mission of the association, to collectively advance and promote the automatic merchandising and coffee service industries, still guides NAMA today as it did in 1936, the year of the organization’s founding.

Mr. Zippy's Ice receives NAMA approval!

In April of 2007, Jim Coleman Company introduced the Mr. Zippy’s Ice and Water House.  Mr. Zippy’s Ice and Water House is a freestanding kiosk that delivers both purified ice and water to the customer.  This patented and innovative process is a revolutionary approach to delivering purified water and ice.  Jim Coleman Company is now pleased to announce that we have received NAMA approval for our Mr. Zippy’s Express Ice and Water House.  The National Automatic Merchandising Association approval certifies that Mr. Zippy’s meets the Federal guidelines for Sanitary Design and Construction of Food, Beverage and Water Vending machines. This approval will help Jim Coleman Company/Hanna meet the health requirements in various states.
